Maybe people are just tired of hearing about Jacy's marital woes. This used to be a relevant blog, but not so much anymore. In fact, Tearfree is hardly on it anymore. Jacy should start up a blog for divorced heartbroken women--I'm sure that's never been done before.
I am going through a difficult time myself and I find Jacy's posts to be very relevant and a nice mix with Tearfree's posts. Jacy has in fact helped me cope without even knowing it! If she can survive such a terrible year and loss, then maybe I can too.
My rant is about women who cheat with your husbands but tell themselves they aren't doing anything wrong becuase the marriage must have been bad to begin with. What fools. And what a violation of the sisterhood.
And people who run red lights while talking on their cell phones.
Any time I volunteer to do something I have to e-mail one person to have that person ask someone else the specifics of the task. Why won't person A just give me the contact info for person B so I can get to it already?! I don't want YOU to talk to the POC for me, *I* want to talk to the POC myself!!
AND, the constant hand holding, and excessive praise. You know, I'm not 5, that's my daughter. You don't have to tell me "YOU'RE AWESOME!!", or "YOU ROCK!!", or "YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!!" everytime I do something for the PTA. When there's a meeting you don't have to tell me how to put stickers on memebership cards, or direct me in the propper manner of passing out the agenda, I think I can handle it
And then there's the politics, new President, everyone hates her, blah, blah , blah....
Hmmm, CBC got rid of Promo Girl so I'm good there.
Weather's been beautiful in these parts the last two months, so I can't do much with that.
I happen to enjoy reading about Jacy's journey because it's no bull**it. So I can't rant about that.
Espanya's face makes me smile and her comments make me hoot, so that's no good either.
Tearfree isn't posting as much as she used to. I could rant about that, I suppose.
Ranting Rick what'isname deserves a rant when he gets all cozy with his peeps on his Ranting Rick Report - satirists should never get cozy. But I can't be bothered.
Anonymous: Blaming the woman who sleeps with someone's husband is the same as her blaming the wife for not keeping the husband happy. Let's talk about who's really to blame here: the married man. This is actually a personal pet peeve of mine.
Gifted Typist: While I didn't care about Promo Girl, I really miss the "Contest Girl" theme song from "Go." Though, I miss Sean Cullan (Cullen?) more.
That is very true, Panic. But what I am talking about is the woman who says she's done absolutely nothing wrong. It is wrong to sleep with someone's spouse. Not as wrong as the spouse sleeping around on his wife/husband, but still wrong, and if you have done or do that, one day it will come back to haunt you.
Jacy, I love reading about your adventures. You very poignantly describe the grief of ending an important chapter in your life. I'm sure you have helped countless people who are going through similar heartaches. You come across as an open, honest,funny and interesting person. Keep writing, please. Anonymous should just piss off.

And thinking her kid is the only 4-year-old jackass. All little kids are mental. It's part of their charm.
