As news that Rebecca Eckler is suing Judd Apatow over the movie Knocked Up made headlines in Toronto and Los Angeles yesterday, a certain 12-year-old of my acquaintance asked: "If he really did steal the idea wouldn't he change the title?"

Apatow could have that syndrome.
Why doesn't she also sue the makers of Spanglish? Think of the smilarities!

b. Sweet nanny from foreign country who tolerates mother's endless tantrums and neuroses. CHECK.
c. Insane, narcissitic mother obsessed with physical fitness, emotionally abusive towards husband, throws multiple tantrums. CHECK!
