The trash talking world of Mummy Bloggers: Do not go there!

Absolutely, take the kids on vacation.

Quebec vs. Canada

In honour of la Fête nationale du Québec, Tearfree, a born and raised anglo Montrealer, gave her take on the Quebec situation, prompting Granny to do a little trash talking and generating mass referrals from a porn site.

RTK was also a destination blog during the Jan Wong Dawson debacle.

On Canada Day 2006, we held a contest to imagine a world in which Canada and other countries were your BFFs.

Ooh la la, France blogging

Tearfree fancies herself an expert on things French. See her guide for visitors to France and her Wikipedia-featured treatise on the essential qualities of a French movie.

Terrorists and serial killers

Tearfree admits that after a terror plot involving young Muslim males she does indeed look with more suspicion on, wait for it, young Muslim males. Her comments on the following news report (not from The Onion although it looks like it could be) got her accused of being a racist by a commenter going by the name of angry.

Tearfree followed up by suggesting that family members who were oblivious to the fact that Mohammed Jr. was cooking up a Jihadi plot in the rec room are on a par with the neighbours who invariably appear on TV after a serial killer is arrested and claim they didn't have a clue he was up to no good. As a result of the post she learned that frequent commenter Granny actually had lived next door to a mass killer.

Tearfree subsequently elaborated on her serial killer theory, applying it to both conspiracy theorists and mummy bloggers.
