Tearfree is in major procrastination mode today. She has a huge pile of papers to mark and she just keeps checking blogs.
Funnily enough, when she did tear herself away from the computer to head into the other room to pick up the papers, she found the dog playing with one of them. Luckily, she was able to retrieve the essay in question, only mildly the worse for wear as you can see from the chewed-up corner.
It would have been so embarrassing for Tearfree to have to have told the student in question she hadn't marked her paper because the dog ate it.
Although, Tearfree must admit that it would have been awfully funny in a vengeful type of way.
