Where have all the Mummy Bloggers gone?

As she began looking through the archives to research this special one-month anniversary celebratory post, Tearfree realized how many of the Mummy Bloggers who contributed to Reject the Koolaid’s founding post have long since fled the scene andthreatened the remaining few Mummy Bloggers with ostracization if they continue to post.

On the one hand, Tearfree is sad that there are no longer commenters with names like McBunni, but on the other hand, they didn’t add all that much content-wise --other than to keep asking why Tearfree was so mean and hateful -- so blogging life goes on, with the Koolaid Moms replaced by lumberjacks and Alberta ranchers who tackle the day’s major issues.

A big special hands across the water to the two fabulous Mummy Bloggers, who have stuck with us through thick and thin. Thanks once again to our 2006 Awesome Rockstar Mummy Blogger Award Winner, whose appearance never fails to liven up the comment threads. And an extra big bouquet goes to the other Mummy Blogger, who continues to post here, complete with photo and links to her blog, even though it might eventually land her in the witness protection program. For her security, Tearfree won’t name her, but she welcomes her back any time and salutes her bravery even if we don’t share the same sense of humour.

Special thanks also go out to our much beloved Great Granny blogger who keeps on posting despite the fact that some of her very long-winded on-line friends have tried to organize a boycott of Reject the Koolaid.

And finally, even though we’re celebrating today, a word must be said about the Mummy Blogger who looked set to go post-al due to the mere existence of this blog. It appears, however, that some kind of an intervention was staged and she was convinced to stop posting whacko comments here and, also, to block Tearfree’s IP address from accessing her blog. Why she felt the second step was necessary, given that Tearfree had never so much as commented on her blog or even been aware of its existence until she launched a blistering attack on Reject the Koolaid, is still a mystery. In any case, we wish her a speedy recovery and a chance to comment again when and if she feels ready for it.
